Khon mokasak is an annual Khon performance for the student to be able to showcase their talent and ambition for the Thai heritage folktale show. Every lesson and teaching comes down to the performance on stage. The Khon Ramayana Mokkhasak episode tells the story of Kumbhakarna, a giant serpent ruling over Dhamma and the younger brother of Tosakanth. Ravana, seeking counsel for war, reluctantly calls upon Kumbhakarna. Despite his reluctance, Kumbhakarna volunteers for battle, wielding the formidable Mokkhasak spear.
